FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT SIZE SHOULD I BUY?

Measurement M L
Circumference (inches) 21.2 - 23.2" 22.5 - 25.2"
Before you purchase your helmet, we recommend checking your measurements to ensure your helmet is the perfect fit for you. You should measure your head with a cloth tape measure above your eyebrows and above your ears.

Remember, helmets should fit closely to the head with no movement. If in doubt, we recommend you buy a larger size.

HOW DO I CLEAN A HELMET?
How to wash a helmet
  1. Make a mixture of cool water and mild detergent and use a damp sponge to clean the helmet.
  2. With a damp sponge, remove any excess soap.
  3. Dry the helmet with a cloth.
  4. Air dry the helmet in a shady area or indoors if some moisture remains.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD CORRECTLY
To measure correctly:
  1. Keep your head up straight.
  2. Wrap a cloth tape measure around the head approximately 1cm above the ear and 2cm above the eyebrows.
  3. Keep the tape measure horizontal.
  4. Record the widest forehead circumference measurement.
If you do not have a cloth tape measure, use a piece of string and measure the length of the string with a flat tape measure. Remember, helmets should fit closely to the head with no movement. If in doubt, we recommend you buy a larger size as the adjustment systems will make it easier to modify.
HOW SHOULD HELMETS BE STORED?
It is important to store your protective helmet correctly in order to extend its lifespan. Here are some tips:

  • Store helmets away from direct sunlight and UV-light.
  • Store helmets away from sources of moisture.
  • Store helmets away from high temperatures.
  • Allow helmets to air-dry after each usage.
SHOULD I INSPECT MY HELMET?
It is recommended that you regularly inspect your helmet for signs of damage and ensure it is being maintained properly. To inspect the helmet you should:

  • Check the exterior for signs of wear or damage.
  • Use a flat-head screwdriver to check that the chinstrap screws are tight.
  • Ensure there is no damage to the chinstrap and check that the fastener latches and releases.
  • Check the inner pads for rips or tears
